First of thank you for a great site/service, I'm a myepisodes.com refugee and was really happy to find you.
I'd really like the option to mark a episode watched from calendar view. A small eye next to episode would be a way to go.
Thank you.
Kris

Hi Kris,
Welcome to TVmaze. Glad to have you here.
Thanks for the suggestion. Although it makes sense to mark shows as watched from the calendar. We're currently giving priority to other functionality that can't be found anywhere on the site yet and has been labeled as urgent.
Keep the suggestions coming as this gives us an idea of what users need the most.
cheers,
Jan
+1 for this suggestion.
It's laborious to open 8 episode info pages to mark my shows as watched.
Widening it a little and adding the "Watched" eye icon after the seriesxepisode number (01x01) would be perfect.

You can always go to the show status page and click on the watchlist-icon next to the show
Then you can click next to the eye icon of the episode that you've last seen and all the episodes before (including the one you clicked next to) will be marked as watched

I think what 8pX78z8WCb6sY9I was saying is that he has to open 8 different pages to mark individual episodes from different shows, airing on the same day, as watched. What you're suggesting only works if you're marking multiple episodes from the same show as watched.
Everything shows up on the Watchlist and it's possible to tick multiple shows quickly from that page. I'm in favor of marking from the calendar too, but I'd ratehr have new function as Jan said then alternatives for this function that already is pretty easy and quick.
This is planned as part of: http://www.tvmaze.com/threads/289/one-week-calenda...
I'm glad it's planned, it is a very good and useful functionality.
Yes, we definitely need this!
Demand for this is high!
Considering that this has been here for 7 months and no idea when TVMaze will implement it, I decided to do it myself.
This requires you to first download an extension for your browser, then clicking install for the script - if you're fine with the default settings - only on My followed shows not Most popular shows, colours, height - then that's all you'd need to do.
Here's a (link to a) picture of it what it looks like: http://i.imgur.com/ujvzfYL.png

Hi gazza,
Awesome work in providing a solution while we work on our current ToDo's.
If you have some time to further tinker with your extension; there are two things that could be improved:
1. the follow buttons are quite bulky and will likely cludder a user with a larger list of followed shows.
2. the styling might be confusing for some users as it's not clear if it's meant for shows under or above it. Once clicked you cannot unclick it.
Just some thoughts. We think it's great you're providing solutions for users. We'll post this on our social channels soon.
cheers,
Jan
Can't seem to edit or delete my older post (from the looks of it, it locks you out after a few hours)
Is this any better?

Gazza this is awesome, thank you for spending your time making this.
Hi gazza,
Try reverting to the previous style but add a margin of 15px left/right and 10px bottom. This will do 2 things. Decouple the button from the bottom episode block and strenghten the association with the episode it belongs to.
Hope this helps.
Hi Gazza, i've pm'd you. Don't forget to post the final result for everyone to see.
cheers and great job with the temporary solution.
