Dimension 20 season numbering

I don't think it should be treated as a separate show. It is more like a TV show moving network - it went from Dropout to Twitch for one season and then back to Dropout.

In particular the "live" season is not standalone, it is a sequel to the first season on the "main" show with the same cast and characters returning.

@TomSouthwell @LadyShelley @gazza911 @RoseRed , what is your take on this?

Personally I considered it as a seperate show as the format changed.

On the main version they do they record it, then do post-edits, including re-filming some parts, e.g. battle scenes after the recording has been done.

On the live version, there are no post-edits.

In addition to promotional materials specifying the name as 'Dimension 20 Live'

I guess it depends on what information you are recording on this site because the original Twitch streams are no longer available, only the edited versions on the Dropout website where it is called season 7.

Additionally the fan wiki ( https://dimension20.fandom.com/wiki/Dimension_20_LIVE_Episodes ) describes Dimension 20 Live as a season of Dimension 20, and on Dimension 20 YouTube channel it is playlist called "Dimension 20 Live" ( https://www.youtube.com/c/dimension20show/playlists ), which matches the naming of other seasons.

I agree that their promotional naming is a bit confusing because the Dropout website puts episodes on multiple pages. For example the latest episode is under both "Dimension 20 Season 13" and "Dimension 20: A Starstruck Odyssey Season 1". It is almost like each season is branded individually but it does seem that they have an official season numbering that goes up to 13.
