Acronyms as AKA

Hello

I have a question about AKAs.

I have seen a lot of shows where the acronym has been put as AKA, which seems weird to me and doesn't fit data policies.

What is the proper ruling on this ?

I mean the first two I've heard used commonly when discussing the shows. I'm not 100% sure though. Any thoughts here @JuanArango , @TonyMayhew , @RoseRed , @LadyShelley , @gazza911

An AKA ("Also Known As") is an alias for a show, to be added when a show is known under multiple names. An AKA may only be added when that name is officially used by the show's Network or Web Channel; for example in a press release or on the show's official website.

While the first two I recognize as being used a lot, I could only find TWD used on AMC's website, but I didn't check all press releases for GoT. The Good Fight and The Good Wife, being a big fan myself have never seen acronyms used for those two shows; so I would say no usually, but there is always the exception like TWD.

The only show I know that is known by its acronym almost as much as its name is Mystery Science Theater 3000. (MST3K or MST) And yes, the official sites refer to it that way as well.

Something to also keep in mind, is those acronyms are searchable, so if they are in common use, fans will look for a show by the acronym.

Same, if it's referenced that way on official material it seems fine.

Otherwise probably should be removed
