Search drop down history disappeared

fringed wrote 2 years ago: 2

Hi, using the latest Edge browser. When I start typing a show in search shows and people previous entries don't show up.

For example if I type C, all the chicago shows, citadel, class of 09 used to show up. It's like all the history got wiped out.

This is the only site that's happened, any ideas?

Thanks

Did you maybe deleet the cookies for tvmaze?

Otherwise only @david or @gazza911 might be able to answer this.

Nope, but even if I did it should start rebuilding again, strange.

What are your cookie settings? If you have cookies set to clear after every session, the autofill in the search won't work. This is also true if you clear your browser history. (which you really should do on a regular basis, anyway.)

I do have a vague memory of this happening once to me after a Chrome update. Something in the update automatically cleared the browser history. Did Edge update recently?

Cookies aren't set to clear when closing Edge, only download history and cached images. I'll clean cookies every now and than but it should start working again afterwards.

Edge has updated a few times, like I mentioned this only happens on tvmaze, I'm basically stumped lol.

Nothing has changed on our end recently. I wouldn't have a clue as to what caused it to single us out...

I have a feeling one of the updates screwed something up
