Since the beginning of this season, all 4 main characters of Star Trek: Lower Decks have been promoted from Ensign to Lieutenant Junior Grade.
What do you think is the best way to show that? Move both ranks to the character AKAs, leaving only first and last names? Different characters for different ranks, or seasons?

Our listing should reflect how they are currently credited and any other previous titles added as AKAs.
Unfortunately the names are never credited onscreen.
And at ParamountPlus, almost 2 weeks after the season 4 finale, they still explicitly use season 3 for it's main info.
Probably best to revisit this next year?

Generally accepted in a show with many promotions in rank is just first name & last name with all their ranks as AKAs. The perfect example is https://www.tvmaze.com/shows/21/the-last-ship
