Please update your Inclusion Policy (https://www.tvmaze.com/faq/13/shows) to add information about the genres you do not list.

Could you be more specific about what your concern is, please?

What concerns me is that your Inclusion Policy has information about requirements for credited cast or crew members, schedule and budget.

But the Inclusion Policy does not describe requirements for genres, although show requests are rejected based on genre.

Example - https://www.tvmaze.com/request/view?id=49048

Simply put porn isn't considered as a show, even if released under the same umbrella title.

In this example, It's not just a series of movies under the same umbrella title. It's divided into seasons and episodes. These episodes correlate to each other by a common plot and characters. It was created and produced by the same company. And it has an overlap in plot/cast/crew. That is, it fully fits the definition of a show, which is specified in the Inclusion Policy.

And the reason for rejecting the Show request indicated in "Notes from the handler" was not about the fact that it was released under the same umbrella title, but about the fact that this show of this genre is a do not list. Although this is not written in the Inclusion Policy

At the moment, we don’t see a need to change the Inclusion Policy, as we do allow shows within the current guidelines. The rejection is due to technical limitations in our system, which currently lacks the necessary tools to properly categorize and manage NSFW content in a way that ensures responsible access.

That said, we recognize the importance of addressing this. We’ll add this topic to our backlog for further analysis to explore potential improvements in managing adult content while maintaining transparency and user safety.
