Does voting on a show update the "updated" stamp of the show?

tvm52237 wrote 3 months ago: 1

Does anyone know if when someone votes on a show whether the "updated" stamp of the show also gets updated?

Does the "updated" stamp only get updated when an important textual field of the show changes?

"rating":{"average":8.5}
"updated":1737025864

Thanks

I'm guessing here, but I would imagine it mirrors the shows edit log, so whatever is the latest entry there is where it gets the updated timestamp from

Thanks - yes the stamp matches the latest Edit Log.

It makes sense a vote not updating the stamp it is just a pity there is no way to detect there is a newer rating waiting.

Sometimes the last update timing doesn't match anything appearing in the edit log.

For instance, Alias Grace last's update is supposed to be on Jan, 09, 2024 and last line in edit log is showing March 2022

Just checked; changing externals aren't audited, but they'll change the updated date

This is good news - I understand why votes do not update the date but if changing the externals didn't result in a change of update date that would be more of a problem - it is great that they do change the updated date :)
