I would like to be able to use the countdown feature and search by language. What I usually do is search by United States but that misses a whole lot of other English language shows and I don't find it very useful.
That sounds like a useful addition to me.

If we are playing with the Language feature we also probably need to make it mandatory that a language is added to a show for it to be able to be added, as it currently isn't and I keep finding multiple shows with no language set.

Making language mandatory seems like a good idea to me. Unless there's a practical reason why it should not be mandatory in which case I wonder if there's a way to incentivize the user to choose a language from the drop down instead of making it a required field. Like the user could be prompted with a question about the language if he tries to submit the form and the language is still left blank, reminding him that if the language is well defined filling out that field helps the TVmaze community. It could possibly even ask the user if the language can be selected from a list of most likely candidates given what is already known about the show such as Name, Network and/or Web Channel with the most likely choices shown or select from list (which can still be left blank)
