Looks like Season 2 has been announced but no date/time yet. Episode 10 will be the season finally. Dont know what the episode 11 is doing listed 3 months after E10. Is that possible season 2 1st episode :)

As far as i know the series was announced to be ordered full season episodes.

Well from what i can find out the info is for next episode after 1x10 is to be released on 29th Feb 2016 with yet to be announced episode name.
Nothing confirmed yet, but looks like it may be a split season1 with additional episodes coming in 2016. Bringing it into line with some other 23 episode shows on NBC. Season 2 was announced and ordered also but no dates.
As of 11/09/2015 episode 8 NBC is saying `Next - Last Blindspot Before Fall Finale!` which to me says our current schedule is correct with the 10 episodes. 11/16 is e09, 11/23 is e10 Fall Final.
