Basically, I wanted to take advantage of the 50% off premium last Black Friday/Cyber Monday. Jan looked at my account, but unfortunately couldn't adjust my subscription payment because I had cancelled my subscription renewal - I changed the email address of my paypal account and was worried that the change would not be picked up, so I cancelled but intended to renew manually when the time came, which is now.

Hi David,
Four years ago I was a huge contributor and loved adding data to the website when there was none. Alot has changed since then I guess. I became a lowly user after a while, but since I have some downtime right now, was wondering if I could just get the contributor tag again.
Is there a way to (relatively) easily fix a mess such as this?

Needless to say, eight different actors didn't play the same character, "Soldier", over a 12-year period and 5+ different serials. The contributor(s) who entered them (who I didn't check via the edit log) presumably didn't know that each soldier is a different character and should be treated as such.
Short of manually going in and fixing them, I don't know of a way. And when it comes to generic character names like this, there are potentially hundreds of misnamed entries for Doctor Who. I fixed another one, for the character(s) "Robot", last night.
