I cannot explain that, but maybe they thought labeling it as season 6 looks weird as they do not have the other seasons.

The press release states it is a continuation, so does the official twitetr say, even the cast say it.

I hope things are well with you. Please delete two of the three Nomad With Carlton McCoy that I created by mistake. My fingers somehow got ahead of my brain. I don't know what I did exactly. I got the 404 error page twice and thought the show was not created. I'll fill in the episodes later today. The show premieres on CNN tomorrow night.
If you hear anything from tnt, tell him I said hello. I hope he is doing ok. He has been away for some time. Thanks as always.

Can you be please add The Finder as a related show to Bones? The Finder is a spin-off of Bones; its backdoor pilot was aired as episode 19 of season 6 of Bones. You may verify in Wikipedia. The relation existed in the past but someone deleted it for some reason. So only a Trusted Contributor or above can add it again. Can you please add it? :)
