The amount of episodes that was ordered for this season. This should only be filled when a network explicitly announces the episode order before the start of the season. For season that have already aired, one can simply look at the season's episode list and this information will be redundant.
Premiere Year / Month
The year and month this season is set to premiere in. Since it's not allowed to add Episodes to TVmaze before they are formally announced, these properties can be used to indicate when a Show that's on hiatus will return. As with the episode order, these attributes should only be entered when they are explicitly announced ahead of time. For seasons that have already premiered, their premiere date is automatically calculated based on the first episode's airdate.

Why would we add episode orders of 15 if the site doesn't confirm it?
According to sources, the four pickups are all for 15 episodes a season each.
Thats not a official confirmation, please tell me you haven't done the same thing across all the shows listed.
Hi, sorry yes I did, but after carefully rereading the policy I deleted all the episode counts (It should be reflected on American Dad, which now only has one season left for next year, but I deleted all the other ones as well). It won't happen again (from now on, I will wait until official schedules are announced from the network, which gives me an idea for when the new seasons come). Sorry for all the trouble!

we always keep the number of episodes ordered, no matter if they have aired already. :)
Without it, a returning status date will never show up
Looks like fli718's recent edits need to be rolled back, as now numerous shows will now longer have a returning status date to display.

This conflicts exactly with what Juan said, that the episode orders are needed for the returning status date to be shown. This is already evident enough with America's Got Talent, which premieres its new season in just a few days, but now just says "Status: Running" instead of "Status: Running; returning May 2025", as all the previous seasons' episode counts have now been removed.

As far as I can recall, the newly announced renewals that hadn't been know until today are Beat Shazam, Don't Forget the Lyrics!, Kitchen Nightmares, LEGO Masters, and Special Forces: World's Toughest Test. (from what I'm seeing, it looks like RoseRed has already taken care of Special Forces.)

FYI, I've already changed back the dates for the season 3 episodes of Jeopardy! Masters, but just to let you know, those dates are correct, as shown by their social media post and official website with the schedule.
From their official website, here is a screenshot of the schedule. Dunno why, but on The Futon Critic listings for the show, it is currently saying that "Quarterfinals 1 & 2" on May 20 is a rerun- clearly an error.
Same thing goes for Celebrity Wheel of Fortune: Not sure why Futon currently lists the May 20 episode ("Katharine McPhee, Andrew Rannells and Josh Gad") as a rerun, but it is indeed new, and it looks like CWoF will be Tuesdays and Wednesdays along with Jeopardy! Masters beginning on May 20 & 21.
Ok got it. Yeah sorry I thought the Futon Critic usually gets its data straight from the network, so I thought it would be the most accurate. Sorry for all the trouble!
