Jersey Shore: Family Vacation

We had a little discussion about this a month ago and decided to have all the episodes in 2019 listed as season 3 due to how long it's been in between episodes and some other stuff, plus now it's weird that mtv.com says they were season 2 last week but this week is season 3. I believe they may have been intended to be part of season 2 but they waited 7 months in between to air them and airing it right up against "season 3" without calling it a finale or a premiere and only taking place a few days apart doesn't help either.

Gotcha! Though, episodes 26/27 (The Hitch-uation eps) was technically the season 2 finale and aired like one (the way it ended). Now starting with "Goodbye Mike" it's now officially season 3. I was going by the order from MTV, Thetvdb, cable companies, etc as S02&03 were mislabeled on here. The gap between episodes 17 & 18 wasn't a finale/premiere gap but rather a mid-season finale like some others do. The special "Unseen Moments You Can't Unsee" is just mislabeled on MTV as they have the real S02E21 on there (Guido Cowboys or Dude Ranch depending on site). It seems they aired season 3 right after season because of the storyline with Mike going to prison (as they did a time jump on the episode). Didn't mean to overstep by changing them, just wanted the episodes to be correct thinking it was a mistake.

It's fine, perfectly understandable. Just the way they're doing it is going against the typical broadcast rules so we decided to keep it as season 3 for those reasons and more. It was probably meant to be a midseason finale and they just waited too long and got weird with their scheduling and aired the rest right up to season 3, but that kind of just makes it seem like how sometimes shows will shoot an episode in season 1 but have to push it back and it airs sometime during season 2. Plus removing "part 2" and adding Angelina seems like something they'd do for a new season, not middle of one. They never promoted them as finales or anything in press and I don't remember it on screen either. MTV.com is kind of a weird place to begin with, they have two episode titles for one episode (the schedule page called it "The Dude Ranch" but the episode guide/full episodes page says "Guido Cowboys") and had the Friendsgiving clip episode as 220, and the length of time between "Ronnie Magro's Series of Unfortunate Events" and "The United States v. The Situation pt 1" was longer than Hitchuation pt 2 and Goodbye Mike... so they really don't seem to know what they're doing anyway. :p

Agreed! MTV/VH1 & similar channels can be very inconsistent with their episodes/seasons. Some never even label episodes as finales. Makes it hard to keep track. I've checked so many times for premiere dates/renewal for several shows and have the hardest time finding out any accurate information. IDK how you have the patience to deal with some of the issues & requests on here! I can't even count how many times people request the same show that keeps getting rejected. One of them (Agent Show I believe it's called) had to have been rejected 10 times at least yet they keep requesting it. Or the ones that request shows that have been on here for many seasons. I give you a lot of credit. I ran a TV link site & quit after being so frustrating with the people on it!
