Do you have any proof of this airing on ЦТ СССР?

I can see that it aired on Россия Культура at some point, but that clearly wasn't the premiere as the network wasn't created until 1997 (12 years after the 2-part film was released).

The fact is that until the beginning of the nineties, the USSR had only one channel of public television in the USSR. So the premiere could only happen on this channel
