Toad & Friends

TomSouthwell posted 6 months ago

A basic google search shows this aired first in France. Why have you changed it back?

Boomerang in the UK do not show original programming anymore.

https://dubdb.fandom.com/wiki/Toad_%26_Friends#Episodes - fan made, not official

https://wildchildanimation.com/project/toad-and-friends/ - no network

https://www.animationmagazine.net/2024/07/hohos-toad-friends-offers-a-wild-new-ride-for-young-viewers/ - a interview literally telling you the UK acquired the show, it recently started airing on Boomerang in July 2024, all pur episodss aired in 2023

A show can be British made and air elsewhere first, which is exactly what has happened here

PhoenixGrey posted 6 months ago

Ok. Do as you wish.
but that's not coherent to put a French network with an English title, English language, British cast&crew, with not mention at all that it is a British program.
There should be a "Country of origin" in Main Info. It would clear up misunderstandings.

Its not me doing what I want, it's literally following site policy...

Rick And Morty The Anime

TomSouthwell posted a year ago

Hey Phoenix

Hope you're okay

Do you have a confirmed source for all ten episodes airing weekly. Also any reason why every episode has been added as airing at midnight Friday instead of Thursday, bearing in mind this rule from data policies:

Special care should be taken when episodes air at or after midnight. To ensure that the episode airdates on TVmaze are in line with the dates used by TV guides and listings worldwide, episodes that start airing at or after midnight but before 5:00 are considered part of the previous day. For example, if an episode airs after midnight between Monday the 1st and Tuesday the 2nd, the airdate should be set to the 1st; even though technically the proper date would be the 2nd.

Thanks

Tom

Hi,
Thank you.
I guess i got confused with the 12AM/PM, I use 24h time.
Sorry

Primos

TomSouthwell posted a year ago

Hey

Hope you're okay.

Please remember segmented animation we list each segment as an episode, I will fix Primos soon which should have 16 seperate episodes (as they were originally showing) not the 8 which you've edited.

If there is a break between the two parts, two separate episodes should be created. Examples of a break are credits or titles appearing on screen for a second time; or a voice-over introducing the second part.

If there are separate titles (even if the only distinction is "Part 1" versus "Part 2") for the two parts, two separate episodes should be created.

If there are separate cast- or crew-credits for the two parts, two separate episodes should be created.

Thanks

Tom

Monster High

Hey Phoenix

Hope you're okay.

Can you provide the official source from which you added the Monster High episodes without an airdate attached please?

Thanks

Tom

Dee & Oz

TomSouthwell posted a year ago

Why have you made the changes when our listing correctly matched Netflix?

PhoenixGrey posted a year ago

Maybe you could precise what page it's about, so I can know what to answer.

TomSouthwell posted a year ago

As stated in the talk message title 'Dee & The Wizard of Oz'

PhoenixGrey posted a year ago

A Prequel is a special episode that happens BEFORE the series, so it's illogical to put it in Season 1 and say the actual series begins in Season 2.
and Netflix does not say the prequel is in Season 1.

TomSouthwell posted a year ago

It says part 1 and like every other show with part 1 and part 2 this is how we list them.

2 Seasons

PhoenixGrey posted a year ago

that's just how the app says there's 2 elements in the drop-down menu.
They precised "The Prequel | The Series" and not "Season 1 |  Season 2"
the Series starts at Season 1

TomSouthwell posted a year ago

This will remain as is, the same as we do with any other Netflix shows that air in parts rather then series.

PhoenixGrey posted a year ago

This is abso illogical.

PhoenixGrey posted a year ago

Explanation already given.
And, following rules blindly, unquestioningly, without accepting exceptions is nonsense.

TomSouthwell posted a year ago

Why would this be an exception its exactly how the service lists the episodes? Can you please respond to the above message about Monster High as well, as some episodes you added were also added incorrectly here.

PhoenixGrey posted a year ago

The way you deal with edit is absurd, you should have a ticket system with links on the ticket to the page, and if you are so obsessed with sources you'd better add everything yourself and not lose time letting lambda members adding data and then asking continuously to explain themselves every minute until you're fed up with the changes and you lock the page.
You don't like Wikipedia as source, but it's impossible to have THE ULTIME OFFICIAL source, since every Movie/TVshow website is participatory just like Wikipedia. Errors are inevitable, Humans make mistakes. Don't be so demanding and so extremely strict abt the rules. All progress requires adjustments.
