Ratings Roundup Week of December 2, 2018

NBC had a bit of news last week with the renewal of The Good Place. Chicago Med, Fire, and PD have been consistent all season, all three should be easy renewals for the network. Will & Grace bounced up a tenth. Blindspot, Midnight, Texas, and I Feel Bad are just playing out the side at this point. All three are likely cancelled.

ABC started it's short episode order Christmas programming as The Great American Baking Show joined The Great Christmas Light Fight last week. The Good Doctor had a nice bump, up four tenths. Most of the comedies lost a tenth last week, with The Goldbergs the odd one out staying steady with the week before.

CBS re-ran a number of the Christmas classics last week. Rudolph lost seven tenths from the airing the week before while Frosty the Snowman gained three tenths from its last airing three weeks ago; maybe the secret is to wait a little longer. MacGyver slipped a tenth, but it's in no danger. Criminal Minds lost two tenths off it's last episode a few weeks ago.

FOX feasted on NFL ratings last week with both an overrun and the regular Thursday night game, though last week's game lost more than a rating point. Jacksonville and Tennessee weren't as interesting as the Cowboys and Saints apparently. The Simpsons benefited from the overrun, up almost a point. The audience didn't last through the night, however, as Rel returned at its usual low. Lethal Weapon and The Gifted were steady.

The CW saw lots of ratings bumps last week. The Flash, Supergirl, Supernatural, and Arrow were all up a tenth. Legacies and Riverdale were steady. All American lost a tenth it couldn't afford while Dynasty and Crazy Ex Girlfriend maintained laughably low numbers.
