PBS Masterpiece newsletter 6/21/2023: Unforgotten Season 5 premieres Sunday, September 3rd at 9/8 and promises six new episodes that will carry you to the gratifying conclusion of another absorbing cold case.
1/4/2023: According to tellyvisions.org (PBS station WETA): ...Unforgotten Season 5 is rumored to be arriving soon on ITV with its new lead Sinéad Keenan replacing Nicola Walker. It has an exclusivity window before it can cross the pond. However, if it does air in February, it could come anytime after June, either as part of the summer of mysteries or perhaps in the fall paired with Annika Season 2 as a double feature.

In addition to the series premiering and streaming exclusively on ITVX, the service will also be launching full series of upcoming flagship ITV shows on their first day of broadcast, allowing viewers to binge watch to their hearts’ content. Early examples will include real life drama Stonehouse starring Matthew Macfadyen and Keeley Hawes and the new series of Unforgotten which will be made available in early 2023.
This was Nicola Walker's series from ep 1, and I can't imagine it continuing without her. Not sure it will be for me anymore
Very nice to hear that the show is returning... but very sad that Nicola Walker will not be along for the ride.
