Katherine Parkinson

Katherine Parkinson was born in 1978 in England as Katherine Jane Parkinson. Trained on the two year post-grad course at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA), but left in her second year when she was offered a role in a professional play. She is known for The Boat That Rocked (2009), The IT Crowd (2006) and How to Lose Friends & Alienate People (2008). Katherine was also a main cast member of the series Doc Martin for three series, and performed the voice-overs for the games Worms Clan Wars and Worms Battlegrounds. She co-starred in Series 1 & 2 of Humans, a science-fiction drama on AMC/Channel 4, which premiered in June 2015.She has been married to Harry Peacock since 2009. They have two children.
