The Loch is another example (it also works for Outcast). It aired first internationally but it was an ITV show, i know it was more than a day or two, but why should there be a difference between 1 or 2 days and 2 months. It is not logical. The dates of the loch from Australia should have shown as world premiere. It could also be used to add airdates of shows that premiere in festivals for example.

My only question is, is The Loch produced just by ITV or is it a group, like Houdini & Doyle for example. If it is only one producer doesn't the Airdate owner rule apply and the ITV dates should be used? If it is a mash up, then yes, the first international airdate applies.

Based on this information then, Tonks is right we should be using the ITV dates shouldn't we?

I was not involved into the discussion about that show, but I remember a lot of people discussed this and in the end the decision was made to use the Australian name and the Australien airdates for the show.

Here's the original discussion http://www.tvmaze.com/threads/2431/itv-studios-loch-ness
But it's unclear, why is Tom decided to stick to AU airdates, since the show is not co-produced, but a solely ITV Studios production, so ITV should be considered airdate owner.

Considering the main topic – until alternative airdates are implemented there's really no reason to review or somehow alter the policy. The data will always be wrong for someone. Especially for co-produced series. US dates would be wrong for the UK viewers, Canadian dates would be wrong for the US viewers etc.

Sorry, didn't know this had already been hashed out once. Though I have to say I am confused why we aren't sticking to the policy with this. If it's a timing thing, the third season of The Musketeers aired about a month earlier in Canada than in the UK and we maintained the BBC listings, so when the show premiered hasn't been a deciding factor in the past for airdate owner issues.

If you all researched that the ITV dates should be used and the ITV show name, then I would suggest to change it, maybe have a quick talk with Tony about it guys :)
