Why is NOVA different on TVDB & IMDb to here on this site?

Both TVDB and IMDb clearly state there is 19 episodes in season 6 yet here on TVMaze it is 10 episodes and the rest appear in Season 7

Who is wrong here?

In fact everywhere I am looking on multiple sites say that there is 19 episodes in season 6

Well, according to official listing 19 episodes is a correct number https://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/listseason/06.html

Basically year == season. Some later seasons also have incorrect listing.

Okay and will TVmaze be edited and brought up to date. I think it has become quite a mess from season 6 on

Eventually it will be. Considering the number of seasons it's a lot of manual work.

can it be that pbs changed the season ordering at some point? Those sites tend to do that sometimes.

I don't know but all I do know is that it is wrong here. Anyway I wasn't aware I could edit and I will make a start on it.

Is it possible to swap Season 16, episodes 8 and 9 for American Dad or do we have to go in and swap everything manually?  The episode "Roger Needs Dick" aired on June 1, and the episode "One Fish, Two Fish" is scheduled to air on June 8.

From what I could tell, the episode aired on June 1 was "One Fish, Two Fish" https://www.tbs.com/shows/american-dad/season-15/episode-6/one-fish-two-fish, which is also confirmed by one of our TCs https://www.tvmaze.com/threads/4322/american-dad, so our current order of episodes is appears to be absolutely correct.

That's odd.  tvguide.com definitely shows it the other way, the episode I watched from June 1 is definitely not One Fish, Two Fish!

As I remember, the episode actually premiered as part of an April Fools' Day, along with https://www.tvmaze.com/episodes/1832021/primal-1x06-plague-of-madness for example. Why it is listed in the middle of the season with a repeat airdate? It should be listed with the actual premiere date, so either as 2x01 or as a special. I think former is better, because there's nothing special about this episode besides the airdate outside the season.

Yes, I’m totally agree with you!

btw when I created 1st episode for season 2, Beast of Both Worlds, I did just like that, but it was changed and later locked.

For lack of a reliable source of data and other contradictions, I decided to leave this business, anyway I'm glad that this situation was resolved!

Yes I suppose. Per specials policy, if they are not "unequivocally declared as such by the original network", they should be listed as regular episodes. However, it is hard to say for sure about Lazor Wulf and Tigtone now, because those episodes are not listed yet.
