FOX wrapped the fifth and final season of 911: Lone Star last week. The series ended on an up note, picking up two hundred thousand viewers for its final episode. Hell's Kitchen wrapped its season, even with the previous week. The network also preempted the Sunday animation block for NASCAR, a move which paid off as racing pulled in a much higher audience. Doc picked up a few tens of thousands of viewers. Rescue HI-Surf was up three hundred thousand viewers.

ABC checked out for Sunday night, running repeats of America's Funniest Home Videos to a smaller and smaller audience as the evening went on. Scamanda picked up one hundred thousand viewers but remained a low spot for the network. None of the other true crime shows the network imported from HULU as schedule-spackle did particularly well last week, either. Shifting Gears picked up a few tens of thousands of viewers. Will Trent was up one hundred thousand viewers. The Rookie was even.

CBS saw the Grammy Awards down two million viewers from the 2024 ceremony, but the awards show still topped the ratings chart. Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage was up two hundred thousand viewers. Poppa's House was down three hundred thousand viewers, making it the lowest-rated comedy on the network. The situation isn't dire yet, but the show needs to come up a bit if fans want to see it renewed. Hollywood Squares lost another hundred thousand viewers last week, but it's cheap to produce, so it's likely safe for now. NCIS: Origins was down two hundred thousand viewers. It's not the lowest-rated drama on the network, but it is close. NCIS: Origins, Elsbeth, and SWAT are the low-hanging fruit for cancellation. Of the three, SWAT is the oldest, making it the most expensive, and it has been cancelled twice before. Chances are, if any go, it will be SWAT. It also wouldn't be a surprise if one or more of the three are moved to Paramount+.

NBC premiered the latest edition of The Voice last week with one of its best premieres in a couple of years. The network has aired exactly one episode of The Hunting Party so far this season, and it repeated that one episode three times on three different nights last week. Fans of The Irrational should prepare for bad news come May. The latest episode of the Jesse L Martin-led series was buried at the bottom of the ratings chart as several repeats of other shows beat it. St Denis Medical was up one hundred thousand viewers. Night Court was even. Happy's Place was down two hundred thousand viewers, but it's in no danger and should be renewed. Lopez vs Lopez wrapped its third season, down three hundred thousand viewers. It was once again the lowest-rated comedy on the network, making its chances of renewal iffy.

Networks will be making their final decisions on renewals in the next couple of weeks. (Though those decisions won't be announced for a couple of months.) Will your favorite shows be back next season?

Coincidently, the last episode had Scottish character, so you’re not far off
Thanks for that. I suddenly decided the character should be Scots, it seems. It's fixed.
Note to Ed: There has been a misspelling the last few weeks for "Elsbeth" in the both the table and summery
