Barbara Holloway

Barbara is a down to earth realist who feels trapped in Kettering and with her husband's obsession with the logging mill. To numb the pain, she embarks on an affair which, while she knows is wrong helps pass the boredom and frustration. Her relationship with her sister, Renae is tense since Renae's daughter, Gillian disappeared in Kettering forest 15 years earlier. Barbara feels for her sister, but wishes she would accept that Gillian is probably dead. It's only when her own daughter goes missing that Barbara begins to understand the pain of losing a child.
