Jace is a head agent with Sentinel Services, the government agency in charge of capturing and restraining mutants. He takes his job very seriously since he lost is daughter during the July 15 mutant battle in Dallas where he was working as a police officer, and doesn't care if mutants are "good" or "bad". Jace has access to almost unlimited government resources, including advanced mechanical drones that can home in on and subdue most mutants.
