Evan flies in the helicopter with Black Bolt and Sammy, and introduces himself as a privately-funded geneticist. He wants to take them to a makeshift lab on the north side of the island. Sammy refuges, but Evan insists that it's safe and they're free to anytime they want. He knows about Black Bolt's power, and offers to help them understand their gifts.
