In the middle of a battlefield Daniel and Amonet meet in a tent. Amonet uses her hand device on Daniel, and when he awakes Amonet (and Sha're) are dead, but when he returns to Earth, he keeps seeing her everywhere.

In this episode, Teal'c calls Daniel by just his first name, as opposed to calling him 'Daniel Jackson'. It is not known if this was a mistake or done intentionally to indicate what was taking place was not real. This is one of only two times in the entire series that Teal'c refers to him this way.

Sha're is killed in this episode, concluding the search begun in the series pilot, "Children of the Gods". After her death, the Harcesis child becomes the new focus for the members of SG-1.

A bit lack luster on action, but WOW! I am amazed by Michael Shanks performance. I had to go back & look at scenes from the original movie with James Spader... Shanks nails Spader, without being an impersonation of Spader, but rather an evolution. To each actors credit, they are EACH Daniel Jackson & it's beautiful to watch!
