Lucifer and Marcus strike a deal to find a way to kill Marcus, and Lucifer wants to learn Marcus' mental and physical vulnerabilities. When the opportunity arises for Lucifer to pose as Marcus' husband, Lucifer leaps at the chance. Meanwhile, Maze smells something different on Charlotte.

Marcus walks into Lux after hours and calls to Lucifer. Lucifer steps out with a chainsaw, and Marcus says that he would have killed himself that way a long time ago. Marcus rattles off all of the times he's used to try and kill himself, and wonders why Lucifer cares so much. Lucifer explains that he's doing it to get revenge on God, and throws a demon steel blade into Marcus' back.
