Great show. All four seasons were excellent.
That said, my least favorite episode from all four seasons was the big finale at the end of season four. I thought it was a stinker. I was literally screaming with frustration at the screen when Cass debated for what seemed like forever (4min 50sec) whether or not to push the button. (“Get On With It!!”) I mean, we all Knew she was going to push the button. No show ends with, ‘And they all failed and died.’
From that point on the episode turned into a sappy, sentimental snooze-fest. Cass and Cole spent 10 minutes of show-time saying good bye to each other, then two minutes later they were back in each other’s arms again. The whole premise of the story was that Cole must be erased from time to save reality. There is No Other Way! That was why they were all so sad! Then Katarina fiddles for twenty seconds with the most complex computer program the world has ever seen and – Presto! – Cole doesn’t have to be erased after all! Yay! Love wins the day!
We all want happy endings, but that ending felt more like a lazily written fairy tale than an adult oriented science fiction show.
Great series! Highly recommended for sci fi fans!
I will really miss this show. Glad they at least gave it a fitting ending, unlike most others.
I've seen quite a few time travel shows, and this is by far the best one yet. I'm even including Continuum in that list of shows, which was pretty damn good itself.
Sad to see the show end because it had really huge potential and the story was really getting good, but glad it didn't get canceled and got it's ending.
A big thank you for everybody allowing this series to have the ending it deserved!
Wow
