Kirk Acevedo is an actor who appeared in Dawn of the Planet of the Apes opposite Gary Oldman, Jason Clarke, and Keri Russell. Acevedo also starred opposite Mark Wahlberg in Disney's Invincible. Additional film credits include Bait,The New World, 5 Up 2, Dinner Rush, In The Weeds, The Visit, Arresting Gena, and Boiler Room. Kirk was also seen in the Oscar nominated Terrence Malick film The Thin Red Line, for which he received an Alma award for Best Supporting Actor.
His off-Broadway performance in Sam Shepard's Tooth of Crime was critically acclaimed. Kirk was nominated for a Drama Desk Nomination Award for his portrayal of Crow. Additional theater credits include the title role in Travis Preston's production of Bernard Marie Koltez's Roberto Zucco.
Acevedo received his BFA in acting from Suny Purchase.
