I get what you mean. I watched a couple different show recaps on youtube covering the show up till this season and now i have a little better understanding of the shows past nuances... However, they introduced so many new characters that are so important to the overall "new" plot theme hardly hinted to in previous seasons, that its a real stretch to connect it to the previous seasons. It's a completely different show now. Although I admit they had to do something radical in order to continue the series.

I agree it is not easy to follow.
The rapid total show plot change this season has thrown me... I am really getting lost.
