agree and well said.
Well this was an improvement. Mind you, once AGAIN, the writing undermines the Original Trilogy. But it's minor. The little Leia girl has improved and the writing for her hasn't been embarrassing so that helps. Reeva didn't have to do much and I appreciate that Vader and the other Inquisitors aren't impressed by her. It makes the bad acting/bad character more bearable. I really hope Vader kills her in the end. I don't think Obi should. And IF Obi does, I hope it's a brief fight where he just takes her out. He defeated Anakin!! Some random sabre swinger isn't going to be a challenge even for a warrior who has rested.
It was GLORIOUS to hear the GREAT James Earl Jones as Vader again!! And I respect Hayden for returning knowing you'd basically never see or hear him! Seeing Vader and him being a cold vicious character was great. I do think the violence by him was gratuitous. It started out purposeful and you could see the point to his viciousness, but then it got to be gratuitous with a very 'convenient' escape.
Still, an improvement. Hopefully it will get better...but never get your hopes up.
the ratings must be bad; the ❄'s are yelling about anything but the bad acting, bad scripts.... Ewan McGregor again carries the show. Hopefully what is good stays good, and what is bad either goes away or get's better.
