Bret is traveling to New Orleans from Memphis, losing at poker. When they arrive in New Orleans, all Bret has is his emergency $1,000. He loses that as well at the casinos and leaves, and a man watches him go. Bret goes to his hotel room and finds a bill for his hotel room beneath his door. As Bret lays out his remaining money for the bill, someone slips another letter beneath his door.
