Mr Bates vs the Post Office: The Real Story

The documentary has exclusive access to Alan Bates, the man who has campaigned tirelessly for nearly twenty years to expose a scandal that is now described as the most widespread miscarriage of justice in British legal history.

Mr Bates vs the Post Office: The Real Story will also feature the sub postmasters whose lives were wrecked by the scandal and who are featured in the ITV drama.

The special (documentary) episode will be shown here in the US near the end of April.  Probably after the series episodes are done.

I just checked.  It is already up on PBS.ORG.  If you are a Passport member, you can watch it now.

This should show up on my Watch List; But, I guess because it's labeled an "insignificant" special, it doesn't. I hope I don't forget to come back to it when I have time.

Yeah, they only show eps 1 - 4 on PBS.org. Maybe by the time they air it they'll schedule the documentary too. If you stream or torrent I did see it available for either. It's a gripping, albeit frustrating, show. Too typical a story I'm afraid. The kind that rarely comes to a satisfactory end..

Series itself to be on PBS starting early April 2024.  Nothing found about this special tho.  Anyone?
