It was giving Goonies, ET, Jumanji,...in those times those kids media were darker than kids media now.
Also...every LEGO fan wants the STARCOURT MALL... and that's telling something :D
It wasn't originally intended as a kids show. Watch season 1 again and tell me it's a kids show.

A bad show is a CBS police/firedept show. Or 50% of CW.
After rewatching everything I do like S3 more than I did previously, and I like S4 a little less than I did before (the Hopper Russia plot is basically filler). The overall plot of S3 barely exists but I love all the friendship stuff. The mall is cool too for sure. S5 has been alright and again I like the friendship stuff the most.
