After a would-be Catholic assassin is killed, Murdoch contends with the powerful Protestant leader who was the target.
This episode, and particularly the Irish Protestant hatred of Irish Catholics, exemplifies the stupidity of prejudice. If every possible prejudice ultimately reduced humanity to 2 final survivors, this particular mental deficiency would have one identical twin kill the other because they were shorter, or balder, or sounded funny or for whatever ridiculous reason one might imagine. There seems to be no shortage of excuses, nor lack of capacity, for humans to hate one another.
We in the US are experiencing the effect of that right now.
