Niles undergoes heart-bypass surgery in an episode that blends humor and poignancy, and interweaves telling flashbacks to the Crane brothers' youth.
This episode also shows a glimpse of the future in which Niles is holding a little girl at the hospital, and tells her, "Say hello to your new sister," as Daphne holds a baby. Kind of disappointing then that they seem to have only one child, David, in the Frasier reboot.
