Scientist Daniel Westin and his wife Kate are developing a process to teleport matter via laser beams, and accidentally create a means of invisibility. However, after Daniel prematurely tests it on himself, the process goes wrong, trapping him in an invisible state... and foreign powers want the secret of his process.

An invisible man, Daniel Westin, enters a hospital, checks the operating schedule, and then goes to a surgical theater where plastic surgeon Nick Maggio is performing a skin graft.
