MTV is a subscription channel available in the UK. The channel is owned and operated by Viacom International Media Networks Europe. The channel originally launched as airing music videos and programming relating to music. However in 2011 the channel relaunched as a entertainment channel and now airs original reality programming. The channel also airs acquired programs from the US MTV channel, including a number of dramas, comedies, talk shows and reality programs.
