Beacon 23 will not return to MGM+ for additional seasons.
Loosely based on Hugh Howey's short story of the same name, Beacon 23 stars Lena Headey as Aster and Stephan James as Halan, individuals who end up in confinement together at the furthest reaches of the universe. The sci-fi series streamed for two seasons from 2023 to 2024, totaling 16 episodes.
Beacon 23 may be shopped to other outlets.
