Born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Ron Hale began his career on television in a 1968 episode of N.Y.P.D., and in 1969 landed a small role in the film Me, Natalie. Beginning in 1975 he played Dr. Roger Coleridge for 909 episodes of Ryan's Hope, a character that appeared in the show's entire 14-year run.
Ron Hale passed away at the age of 78.
