Born and raised in Denver, Colorado, Jessica Rothe grew up studying theatre and dance. She went on to Boston University where she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting. Shortly after graduating, Jessica made her way to New York where she joined the Roundabout Theatre. Prior to this, she had been involved in other theatre productions including The Cherry Orchard (Huntington Theatre) and Kevin Moriarty's HAIR (Hangar Theatre). Rothe's movie credits include: La La Land (2016), Please Stand By (2017), Juveniles (2018), and Happy Death Day 2U (2019).
