Abraham Popoola is a British actor, director, writer, singer and rapper. He was born and bred in Hackney, London to Nigerian parents. Popoola studied at RADA (Royal Academy of Dramatic Art), 2013-2016. In 2017 he won the Stage Debut Award for Best Actor in a Play, for his performance in Othello. Popoola is known for the movies Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey (2020), The Dark Tower (2020), Cruella (2021), and Morbius (2022). He is also known for the TV series The Great (2020), The Curse (2022), Andor (2022), and The Rig (2023).
