Kristof Kaczmarek was born in Torun, Kujawsko-Pomorskie, Poland as Krzysztof Kaczmarek. He is an actor, known for The Sound of One Hand Clapping (1998), Rush (2008) and Woodley (2012).
Kaczmarek trained in Poland at one of the best Polish Academies of Acting in LODZ. He came to Australia in 1982 and in 1985 he created the first immigrant theatre in Western Australia, Theatre ZART. Kristof is also familiar with film and television. He appeared in many TV series (Blue Heelers, Stingers, Satisfaction, Rush and City Homicide, Mr Blake's Mysteries etc), numerous short movies as well as in a few feature films, like Jackie Chan's First Strike, Black Neon, Clean, Frank and Jerry. His biggest success in this field is a lead-role in The Sound of One Hand Clapping – a film selected for the Berlin Film Festival
