Jennifer Palmieri is an American political advisor, media personality, and Democratic spokesperson, who served as the communications director for Hillary Clinton's 2016 presidential campaign. According to Politico, she has a reputation as one who advocates for more press access to candidates and elected officials.
Palmieri's responsibilities with the Clinton campaign involved speaking to the press on Clinton's behalf and managing press access at campaign events. Her prior experience includes time in the communications office during the administrations of President Bill Clinton (D) and President Barack Obama (D). She directed communications for the Center for American Progress, an organization that provided research for several policy ads run during Obama's 2008 campaign.
