Born in Atlanta, Georgia, Carol Locatell began her career in a 1967 episode of The Flying Nun, and then in 1969 she appeared in episodes of It Takes a Thief, Medical Center and McCloud. In the mid 1980s she moved from Los Angeles to New York and from her first audition she landed a part on Broadway in the 1986 premier of Broadway Bound. It was in 1985 that she appeared in the memorable role of Ethel in Friday the 13th Part V: A New Beginning
