Philippe Kress is a Danish cinematographer born in Taastrup. He is best known for his work as director of photography on King Charles III (2017), Riviera (2019-2020), Ragnarok (2020), and Fate: The Winx Saga (2022).
He has won several notable film awards for best cinematography: Loudoun Arts Film Festival in 2021, Mystic Film Festival in 2021, RiverRun International Film Award in 2021, and Paris International Film Festival in 2022. He has also been nominated for best cinematography at the Academy Awards in 2007 and at the Amanda Awards in 2015.
