Lucky Yates

Lucky Yates, born and raised in Detroit, graduated from Wayne State University with a B.F.A. in acting. After graduation he became a puppeteer in Atlanta at The Center for Puppetry Arts. He then joined the Improv Ensemble at Dad's Garage Theatre, where he has been performing live improvisational comedy every week, both with puppets and without. Since 2000, Lucky has also been the curator of Atlanta's late-night Puppet Slams and created a Saturday morning improvised children's show that has inspired tens of children to misbehave.
