Gabriel Romero

Gabriel Romero is a Mexican actor best known for his ground-breaking role as Fernandito, the first openly gay character on Spanish-language television, on the award-winning Telemundo sitcom Los Beltrán, and for his role as Marco on the here! original series Dante's Cove. Born and raised in Mexico City, Gabriel began acting professionally touring in musicals such as Barnum and Something's Afoot. He holds a BFA Cum Lauda in Stage Management from the University of Southern California and has continued to work both in front and behind the scenes for over 35 years. With 24th Street Theatre he toured Colombia, El Salvador and Mexico in the title role of The Ogreling and continues to serve as Master of Ceremonies in their Day of the Dead Celebration for over 14 years. Other notable acting credits include War of the Worlds with Los Angeles Philharmonic; What If...? for Marvel Animation; Call of Duty: Modern Warfare for Activision; the live action video game Immortality by Sam Barlow; and Crescent City opera with The Industry. He is President and CEO of Love & Light Inc., a Spiritual Innertainment Company that produces events focused on Restorative Sound Therapy, Mayan Shamanic traditions, and Sun/Moon Ceremonies.
