Jonathan Koensgen

Jonathan Koensgen is a Canadian film, stage, television and voice actor. He was born in 1986 in Ottawa, Ontario. His father is actor John Koensgen. Jonathan has been acting professionally since the early age of nine. He spent his formative years regularly performing on stage at the National Arts Centre. Since relocating to Toronto over a decade ago he has worked across the country in theatre and film from Newfoundland to British Columbia. Jonathan's television credits include ReGenesis (2006), Copper (2012–2013), Murdoch Mysteries (2013), Call Me Fitz (2013), Mary Kills People (2017), Reign (2017), Saving Hope (2017), Alias Grace (2017), Crawford (2018), Taken (2018), Jett (2019), V-Wars (2019), Star Trek: Discovery (2020), Frankie Drake Mysteries (2021), Reacher (2022), Accused (2023), FUBAR (2023), and Hudson & Rex (2025).
