Nikeya Young is an actress, singer/songwriter, model, author, life coach, and motivational speaker. She was born in Chicago, Illinois, but raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She moved back to Chicago in 1999 to attend DePaul University. This is where she met her husband, music producer Rodney "RJ" Young. The two were married on March 14, 2009.
