David Strickland was probably best known for his role as Todd Stiles in Suddenly Susan. Strickland suffered from Bipolar disorder and took his own life following a drug and alcohol binge in Las Vegas with his Suddenly Susan co-star Andy Dick. He was due in court for a progress check for a previous conviction on the day of his death. His body was found by a private investigator hired by his Suddenly Susan co-star and friend, Brooke Shields when he failed to show up for this court date.
