David Strickland was probably best known for his role as Todd Stiles in Suddenly Susan. He also guest starred in Dave's World, Mad About You, Sister Sister and Roseanne. Strickland suffered from Bipolar disorder and took his own life following a drug and alcohol binge in Las Vegas with his Suddenly Susan co-star Andy Dick. He was due in court for a progress check for a previous conviction on the day of his death. His body was found by a private investigator hired by his Suddenly Susan co-star and friend, Brooke Shields when he failed to show up for this court date.
